Sir Thomas Fettiplace of East Shefford in the county of Berkshire, knight, married the Lady Beatrice, Countess of Shrewsbury, and daughter to Alphonso, King of Portugal and had issue, Richard, his eldest son ex relacone Robert Yate of Oxford, gentleman.

Richard Fettiplace of East Shefford aforesaid, esquire, married Elizabeth the daughter and heir of William Bessels of Besselsleigh in the county of Berkshire, esquire, and by her had issue, John, his eldest son; Edward, second son; Anthony, third son; John Fettiplace, fourth son; and Thomas Fettiplace, fifth son; Susan married to ..... of Kingston in  the county of Gloucestershire, esquire; Jane married to John Moore of Haddon in the county of Oxfordshire, esquire; Anne married to Edward Purefoy of Shalstone in the county of Buckinghamshire, esquire; Dorothy married to ..... Cutterington of ..... in the county of .....; Eleanor, a nun at Sion; Elizabeth, a nun at Amesbury.

John Fettiplace of East Shefford [or of Besselsleigh] aforesaid, esquire,  eldest son and heir to Richard, married Dorothy daughter of John Danvers of Dauntsey in the county of Wiltshire, esquire,  and by her hath issue, Edmund, his eldest son; Thomas, second son; John, third son; and Miles, fourth son; Susan married to Henry Clifford of ..... in the county of Wiltshire, esquire; Bridget married to John Hungerford of Down Ampney in the county of Wiltshire [Gloucestershire], esquire; Elizabeth married to John Goddard of Stonden Hussey in the county of Wiltshire, esquire.

Edmund Fettiplace of Shefford in the county of Berkshire, esquire, son and heir to John, married Margaret third daughter to John, Lord Mordaunt, of Turvey in the county of Bedfordshire, and by her hath issue, John Fettiplace, his eldest son; Edmund, second son; George, third son; William, fourth son; and Thomas Fettiplace, fifth son; Elizabeth married to John Hungerford of Dicleston in the county of Gloucestershire, esquire, and hath issue, John and Abraham, Margaret, Mary and Jane; Anne married to Andrew Kettleby of Siddington Langley in the county of Gloucestershire, esquire; Jane married to Anthony Windsor; and Dorothy married to Henry Cassey of Whitfield in the county of Gloucestershire, esquire, and hath issue, Thomas, Giles, Margaret and Jane. After, the said Margaret married to her second husband, Thomas Denton of Hillesden in the county of Buckinghamshire, esquire, and had issue by him, Alexander Denton.

[Sir] John Fettiplace of Besselsleigh aforesaid, esquire [knight], eldest son and heir to Edmund, married Elizabeth daughter to Sir Anthony Hungerford of Down Ampney in the county of Wiltshire [Gloucestershire], knight, and by her hath issue, Bessels Fettiplace, his eldest son and heir apparent;  Richard, second son; and Dorothy.

Bessels Fettiplace of Besselsleigh aforesaid, esquire, eldest son and heir apparent to John, married Eleanor daughter to Richard Covert of Slaugham in the county of Sussex, esquire, [and sister to Sir Walter Covert, knight, and had issue, Richard who married the daughter of Sir Henry Poole of Gloucester, knight] and by her hath as yet no issue.

George Fettiplace of the Middle Temple in London, esquire, third son to Edmund Fettiplace aforesaid, married Cecily daughter to Henry Poole of Worroulde in the county of Wiltshire, esquire, and by her hath issue, John Fettiplace, his eldest son; Denton Fettiplace, second son; Giles, third son; Robert, fourth son; and Richard Fettiplace, fifth son.
