Where Monks Ate

- This was the monks' Dining
Room.
- The monks ate at long wooden tables.
They were vegetarians.
- They drank lots of beer because
it was difficult to get clean fresh water.
- One of the monks read from the
Bible during the meal.
- The rest of them were not
allowed to speak, but they used lots of sign-language!
